in-person programs

Traditional programs include participants meeting weekly to write their caregiving stories and then work with pre-screened songwriters to translate the story into a song. At the end of the program, participants are given a professional recording of their song.

  • Weeks 1-4 are dedicated to writing your caregiver story

  • Week 5 pairs you with the songwriter

  • Week 6 is time to share! A small, private performance of the participants and songwriters allows the group to celebrate their stories and songs, together.

“Build your own” in-person program is another option for teams looking for specific activities with goals in mind. Experience songwriting and expression as you wish.

online programs

Online programs are being offered in small groups, limited to no more than eight participants per group. Each program lasts six weeks and will meet weekly on the same day and time. All sessions will be offered over Zoom or a similar on-line platform. There is no cost to healthcare professionals who are currently working full-time.

Support the Cause

Your donation helps Songs for the Soul provide these programs to caregivers, without cost to them, in order to eliminate a barrier to undertaking self care. Costs of programs include writing facilitators, songwriters, and recording engineers, because it is an important principle of Songs for the Soul that artists are compensated for their contributions.
